Create Charts from very large CSV files

Hi All,

We get very large performance logs in the form of CSV.

We do lot of excel sheet work to generate graphs out from them.

I used rrdtool to generate graphs from them, but rrdtool does data normalization and won't graph the exact data(that is my understanding, correct me if I am wrong)

I used gnuplot, Gruff, scruffy . But I don't know whether they are suited for big data sets

this CSV file has only 25 lines

Still I get the alert

root@test-vm-lubuntu: ./plot.gp > latency.png
Warning: empty x range [-6.27983e+10:-6.27983e+10], adjusting to [-6.34263e+10:-6.21703e+10]
"./plot.gp", line 26: warning: Too many axis ticks requested (>1e+07)
"./plot.gp", line 26: warning: Too many axis ticks requested (>1e+07)

Please suggest if any other tool which can handle the big CSV files.

My Idea is to automate the whole graph creation using RUBY scripts.

Regards,
