Exclamation CPU cooler software

im running mandrake 9.0 on an Athlon XP 1800+ @ Epox 8k3a (kt333), i have WinXP PRO and Mandrake; in windows i use CPUIdle, so the temperature is about 100.f. - 38.c. -, but in linux it gets up to 125.f. or 52.c. i know its not going to kill my CPU inmediately but id really like to keep the temperature lower.

Is there any CPU cooler software for linux? something like CPUIdle, Rain or Waterfall...

or is there a way to make those run in linux?

thx

Autospeedstep. Never tried it myself but stumbled on it when looking for GPS software for my little Garmin (same author & GPSdrive _rocks_).
