Copy from one system to another
I am using a BitsyX card from Applied Data Systems on which I boot from an "Fulldebian" nfs root located on my stationary pc. I also have another BitsyX card on which I only have a small debian distribution running.
My question is how should I generally go about in order to install applications on the "stand alone" BitsyX card?
What I have done up to this point is to run ./configure, ./make and ./make install on the BitsyX card with the fulldebian nfs mount since it has access to the needed compilers (the stand alone doesn't)... I then manually copy files from this mounted fs to the "stand alone" BitsyX card.
Um currently having some problems "moving" mSQL to the stand alone card. I have copied the complete /usr/local/mSQL3 dir to the stand alone card but it seems to be something wrong because I can create databases and tables but I can't for example do SELECT and INSERT INTO ("ERROR: ")
