[SOLVED] converting MP3 to OGG

I've learned commands to convert WAV music format to OGG or MP3, and OGG to MP3, but what would convert MP3 to OGG? I lost some of my music (all OGG) when my music player failed and have had to copy the files back from a person I shared them with, but those files are all MP3.

ffmpeg or mencoder, which is a sub-project of mplayer, should do the trick. There are GUI frontends available for mencoder; I don't know about GUIs for ffmpeg.

You could, of course, do it one file at a time in Audacity or a similar program, but a batch approach is probably your best bet.

Thanks. Since I'm looking at only two MP3 files (I had all the others backed up), I think I'll just use Audacity--I forgot I could.
