connecting from Linux to MS SQL using perl DBI->connect

Hi all,
I have been trying to connect to my MS SQL Server from my linux box to dumo some contents to my SQL database.

I am using a perl script to do that and i am using the DBI->connect call ... i have used the DBD::Sybase client libraries and i am using MS SQL for win2000.

I keep getting a "connection refused" message when i try to run my perl script on the Linux machine.....

any ideas?
