Connecting an mtp device to amarok2

I am attempting to connect a Creative Zen V plus with amarok2 with no luck yet. The documentation I could find on subject stated in amarok2 devices are automatically detected and accessible under the music collection. I do not see it there. I am using libmtp 0.3.1 and when I run mtp-detect the device is recognized. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Fixed it. There was a script in the libmtp source to run after the install to insert udev and hal rules. The script was called hotplug.sh if anyone else is having the same problem.
