Config Vmware on PCLinuxOS


I am Runnin PClinuxOS 0.92 with the kernel-pclos-source-2.6.12 update and am trying to run vmware, i open the xterm acording to its instructions but when trying to run vmware it says i need to configure it for my kernel and i follow the prompt s as best i can then i get to the point were it wants to know the installed location of my kernel file and as i have only been using linux for about 3 days i have no idea of were to even start looking, could anyone please help me get vmware configured for my kernel.

Where are you stuck? is it asking for:

/usr/src/linux/include ?

Do you have that? have you tried making a sym link to your current /usr/src/[kernelversion]

or try typing /usr/src/[currentkernelversion]/include when it asks to configure the kernel.

and if that doesn't work, first go into the kernel folder and do:

make clean
make cloneconfig
make prepare

then do the steps again
