compiling seq24

I'm trying to ./configure seq24
here is the result
note that I have installed with kpackage

checking for gtkmm-2.4 >= 2.4.0... Package gtkmm-2.4 was not found in the pkg-config search path. Perhaps you should add the directory containing `gtkmm-2.4.pc' to the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable No package 'gtkmm-2.4' found
configure: error: Library requirements (gtkmm-2.4 >= 2.4.0) not met; consider adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if your libraries are in a nonstandard prefix so pkg-config can find them

which is the problem?

thanks in advance

You need to apt-get install libgtkmm-2.4-dev. I had the same problem.
Next problem...
