Talking College Linux?


is college linux anygood???i really like fedora but it screwed up when i tryed to reboot

what about SuSE???
or Slackware?



my definiton of good:
1. pretty ez to install
2. GUI!!!!!!
3. comes with an X Window

lol ok ill try it

my laptop is like CRAZY
when i install windows on it i have to goto dell and install like 50 drivers
ive tried FC3
and FreeBSD

on fedora i went through install and it was all good until i rebooted and did the post-install config

it just showed a screen full of colors lol
ok ill try unbutu (or however u spell it)

the problem i had with freeBSD was that i coudnt install KDE or Enlightenment b/c my laptop has no internet connection

Fedora was cool b/c it came with KDE and stuff (lol stuff)
but Fedora didnt work...

I know Slax, DSL, and Puppy are supposed to be able to be used on usb flash.
You know, this really belongs in "Distribution"

The KDE in Fedora/Redhat is crippled anyway and highly modified to look and act like gnome.
