Closing Xserver...


I can start X server with "startx", how do I close it?

What gui are you using? Try right-clicking anywhere on the screen and look at the menu that, probably, pops up.

It should be in the gnome menu, at the bottom. Pretty much the same place it is in Windows.
i suppose you could also kill the process, but that doesn't seem like the safeist thing to do.

On some distros, ctl-alt.del will also do it.
