When I click on MPLayer on Suse 9.3, nothing happens!! The Icon clock and dissappear, Nothing happens.!!!

What are the components require to be install for MPlayer on Suse? (Apart for MPlayer RPM, what else needs to be install on the workstation) .. Thanks

How about:
"I have a desktop icon for mplayer in KDE, but if I click
on it nothing happens".
Or
"If I browse to /path/to/mplayer in Konqueror and click
(double-click?) it, nothing happens"
Or
"I have installed MPlayer from an RPM, and it created
a menu entry in K-Menu -> Multimedia -> Video. How-
ever, if I click on it, nothing happens"

If there were any dependencies RPM should have told
you so.

As a generic means of diagnostics: locate mplayer
on your HDD and try to run it from a console.
