Hello Admins,
any help!!!!
i want to install HIPS on linux platform.
Good for you! Now if you tell us what you've tried, what you've done, what problem(s) you're having, and on what version/distro of Linux, with what HIPS package, maybe you can get help.
Telling us what you WANT provides no details. If you want basic starting points, try Google.

Spell your words out, and write clearly.
As you were asked in the first reply, we need version/distro of Linux, and details. From the screen shot, it's obvious you're running RHEL5.3 in a VM under Windows. Again, where did you get the package you're trying to install?? Did you read the log file it told you to? Did you read the instructions that came with it?? Did you read unSpawn's post, about that package?
And since you're using RHEL, call RedHat, since you're paying for support with your RHEL subscription.
He used PuTTY to SSH to his RHEL 5.3 box but yes, the CSAagent_install.log should help Cisco personnel help him. We can't do anything about that. Case moved to the Software forum as this has more to do with installing software, not Linux Security.
