Chrome Responsiveness issues after screensaver

Is anyone else having issues with chrome becoming unresponsive to the keyboard after resuming use once the screensaver has come on?

After I shake my mouse to begin use again, I cant place the cursor with a mouse click or type anything into the address bar. It seems to only happen after the screensaver has been activated resulting me having to close chrome and reopen it again. I can still navigate tabs that already have open using links on the page but placing a cursor to begin typing or typing itself is completely unresponsive. It only affects Chrome, once the problem arises I have tried out typing in my remote ssh term window and that works fine.

Using Ubuntu 10.10 Maverick 64-bit with Google Chrome 8.0.552.224
extensions installed are AdBlock, Downloads and Chromium Wheel Smooth Scroller.
