Changing Knoppix Screen Resolution Prior to Booting
I just taught that session over Linux I mentioned a while back. My brother wasn't there so I gave him a copy of the handout and a copy of Knoppix 3.9 because the teacher said she's going to start making them use Linux and makeup a quiz based on the handout. Anyway, I wanted to boot Knoppix up on his PC so I could show him around it. However his monitor is not compatable with any resolution greater than 800x600, and Knoppix by default starts with 1024x768, and everything looks so jumpled up I can't change it after it boots. It's not the computer, I built the thing a couple of months ago so I know what it's capable of. So does anybody know how I would go about changing the screen resolution used by Knoppix 3.9 to 800x600 prior to booting?
