changing dpi on Enlightenment 17

I've been having some problems with KDE lately so I've been wanting to start using E. It looks great and all but I can't get the font DPI to change to 96. I found a little barebones dialog option that had an option for Force Font DPI but it doesn't seem to do anything, even after restarting X from CLI.

How can I fix it?

DPI is determined by the ( X ) driver using the screen size.
Options to set monitor size can be place into the xorg.conf file.
Set the proper size(from manf. specs) and the DPI is calculated and used.
You can verify it in the Xorg.0.log file(in /var/log).
Normally, that is not needed as the monitor EDID is read and the data retrieved is used for the calculations. Some monitors lie, some do not provide it ... and sometimes the data is just wrong. So the option in the xorg.conf file is available to be used.
