Change from '@server.example.com'

I've finally got my email server up and running using postfix and dovecot. All seems ok for now and I've got further projects to do like spam filters etc. But what I need help with is a small thing:

My emails keep going out from xxx@server.example.com - How do I change it so they come from my domain instead? I've looked through the main.cf and the dovecot.conf but there's nothing obvious. I've changed the return address in the mail client, which works when you hit reply, but it doesn't change the header saying it from '@server.example.com'.

Any ideas?

It's got next to loopback, localhost and server? I've added my domain to the list - Still does the same?

Fixed this myself!

There was a /etc/mailname file that needed blanking.

This linux thing is a bit hit and miss. I'm finding myself guessing how to do stuff half the time as no one has any ideas how to fix things. It's good in a way as I think you learn more stuff by fixing broken things, but I can see why people use the m$ junk - as there always seems to be an answer to every problem!
