ok... i have a linksys router that i can connect to via http to configure it..

i run slackware 9.1 and Win XP....

i can connect to the router with the other linux computers on my network via http and a browser.

i can not connect to it with my main computer running slackware using a browser and http

if i boot over to windows i can connect to it...it works....

you can ping it...and hit it with the other computers/operating systems on my network....just not my main machine running slack...

From what I remember I'd first check if this isn't one of those javascript issues.

I used to have this problem until I ran across a fine piece of detective work by another LQ member

See This Thread

Apparently the problem is with ECN (Explicit Congestion Notification) and it needs to be turned off for the Linksys web software to work. For some reason it is on by default in the 2.6.x kernels and maybe some of later 2.4.x kernels.
