Question Cannot get ClipGrab appimages to work.

Hi.

I've been using ClipGrab for a long time and love it. I've been on the last version (3.6.8) before appimages became the format for a while now as I've never been able to get the ClipGrab appimage to work. I've got other appimages on my computer (Kdenlive, OpenShot, etc.) that work fine.

The terminal output:

Code:
./ClipGrab-3.7.2-x86_64.AppImage
Code:
QSslSocket: cannot resolve CRYPTO_num_locks
QSslSocket: cannot resolve CRYPTO_set_id_callback
QSslSocket: cannot resolve CRYPTO_set_locking_callback
QSslSocket: cannot resolve sk_free
QSslSocket: cannot resolve sk_num
QSslSocket: cannot resolve sk_pop_free
QSslSocket: cannot resolve sk_value
QSslSocket: cannot resolve SSL_library_init

QSslSocket: cannot resolve OPENSSL_add_all_algorithms_noconf
QSslSocket: cannot resolve OPENSSL_add_all_algorithms_conf
QSslSocket: cannot resolve SSLeay

QSslSocket: cannot call unresolved function CRYPTO_set_locking_callback
QSslSocket: cannot call unresolved function SSL_library_init
QSslSocket: cannot call unresolved function SSLv23_client_method
QSslSocket: cannot call unresolved function sk_num
Can anyone else get these appimages to work?

Has anyone any suggestions?

Thanks.

it cannot be sane to use a clipboard manager as an appimage.
surely it or a usable alternative is in the repos?

Hi ondoho. It's not a clipboard manager, it's a video downloader.

Cheers dc.901!

This alone from your link did the trick.

Code:
sudo apt install libssl1.0-dev
