Can ks.cfg be added to a linux install boot DVD to perform kickstart installation?

Hello,
I want to make a CentOS 4.7 DVD iso with a kickstart file in the top level directory so I can type "linux ks=cdrom:/ks.cfg" and have automated installs from the DVD. Can this be done, or do I have to have the kickstart file on a separate disc from the installation dvd?

Thank you!

you should be able to do it either on 1 disk or 2 (for example: a bootable install DVD w/ ks.cfg on attached USB drive). You should also be able to set it up so you don't even have to type "linux ks=cdrom:/ks.cfg"...but I don't remember the exact technique. RedHat puts lots of information regarding this online...even their older documentation for RH8 & RH9 is helpful & applicable.

Thanks. A coworker of mine just passed me a Mastering Red Hat Linux 9 book that may have the information I need. I will look there.
