Hi!

That package you've installed is a source rpm (src.rpm). It does not contain any binary (executable), ratter sources to build those binaries. You might want to install apache-1.xxx.xxx.rpm, not .src.rpm.(this is an example)

If you are not sure how to install programs in Linux, read this:

http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...threadid=45094

You might want as well to install apt-get for Redhat. It works great and to install something, say, gaim, it's just to type "apt-get install gaim". Apt-get then connects to a repository, downloads all packages and dependencies and install them for you. Read this:

http://freshrpms.net/apt/

Good luck!
