can't install idesk + mixed bag!

1st - having some bother installing idesk - when i do make i get something about "librsvg not found" and "add the directory containing". I downloaded and compiled librsvg and that seemed to go ok but still can't make idesk but I can't give the exact error because...

2nd - aterm doesn't allow me to see enough output so i can't scroll up to view errors etc - surely i can change this but i dunno where to start

any help much appreciated

1. problem solved - package in "wrong" place

export PKG_CONFIG_PATH=/usr/lib/pkgconfig:/usr/local/lib/pkgconfig

fixed it - have installed and works great!

2. still none the wiser
