My current workstation is running Mandrake 9.0 on x86 architecture, and I have a Sparc Classic that I would like to try to install OpenBSD 3.2 on, however I have no floppy or cd-rom drive for it. I have read the diskless man page for OpenBSD, as well as many write-ups on how to setup Mandrake to do a network install, but I just can't seem to get it to work. My question is, has anyone done this (or something similar), and if so how to you go about doing it.

I have done this before to install Redhat 6.2 on a SparcStation 10. The procedure was simular to this, install an rarp daemon and tftp server on another linux machine. Setup the rarp so that the sun machine will recieve an IP address. Boot the Sun box from network, downloading the image from the tftp server. The I simply did an ftp install with an ftp server.

Even though its Linux this procedure seems like it will work for you as well, (seeing as most of the battle is just getting it to boot the image from the network).
