C/C++ Reference for KDevelop

I'm running KDevelop 2.1.3(Using KDE 3.0.5) on SuSe8.1.
When I try to install the C/C++ reference (c_cpp_reference-2.0.2 from kdevelop.org), ./configure exits with:

checking for KDE... configure: error:
in the prefix, you've'chosen, are no KDE headers installed. This will fail. So, check this please and use another prefix!

The thing is, "I" did not choose any prefix, I wouldn't know one if it bit me anyway, so wtf is wrong?

I tried to install every single piece of KDE and KDevelop stuff on the DVD, including all the libs, no change!

Any help gladly apprechiated...
