Building Gui how?

Hi all,
I want to develop Gui for Linux can any body suggest me which tool is
better for it.

If you want to build a GUI, it somewhat revolves around which language you would be writing your project in.

C++: Qt
C: Gtk, Glade
Tcl: Tk
Python: Qt, Gtk, Tk

i think mostly now we use KDE instead of Qt. KDE is kind of a superset or wrapper of Qt.
the same with the gnome libs as a wrapper for gtk.

but you can certainly do either or.
