Browser window size

I did a reinstall of Debian(Sarge) to my hd. For some reason I always end up with an 800x600 window but that is no problem I just edit XF86Config-4 to include 1024x768. The problem is that before I edited the file I used aptitude to install Opera and for some reason the browser remembers the 800x600 configuration and won't open to a full window. How do I change this behavour? Any help appreciated.

There's a trick to fix this.
  • Launch Opera.
  • Hold down the Shift key.
  • Maximize Opera.
  • Close Opera.

That's it. Next time you start it, it will be at the same size settings it was when you closed it.
