I have upgraded Kubuntu from 19.04 to 19.10 with single problem. I use cctv client on that machine 24/7 and it no longer works. I have purged and attempted to reinstall:

The program 'edvrclient' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'GLXBadContext'.
(Details: serial 47003 error_code 161 request_code 153 minor_code 6)
(Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line
option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)

The install seems OK, despite some warnings.
But you have some GL (graphics accelaration) errors.
Maybe the program is not compatible with the new OS version? You checked their web pages, yes?
I did now!
Should I attempt to install these even though it's in guide for 16.04?
Code:
Installing exacqVision Client in 64-bit Ubuntu 16.04
If desired, install hardware decompression dependencies with:
sudo apt-get install i965-va-driver:i386 libva-x11-1:i386
Install the deb file using the following commands:
sudo dpkg -i exacqVisionClientRC.deb
NOTE: You will encounter dependency errors. Fix them by running:
sudo apt-get install -f
Reboot
