Bootup stops @ "Configuring Kernel Parameters"
Hi Friends,
My System stops while booting Linux at the following message
"Checking Kernel parameters."
SOS:
My System: P III, 810 Chipset MotherBoard, 20 GB HDD Seagate barracuda(Now, another 80 GB added) Redhat 7.2
Detailed Description:
10 days ago, I added 80 GB Seagate barracuda Hard Disk and DLink Internal Modem 56 Kbps.
From the next day, X (I mean GNome/KDE) would not startup.
& From Yesterday,
"Loading DMI Data" the one we get prior to Dual Boot Prompt took nearly 10 seconds,
& then Linux did not load at all.
It gave OK at the message "Configuring Kernel parameters. "
& then did did not go ahead.
All my key strokes were displayed on screen.
Help me.
Yesterday Night, I tried booting with Linux Boot Floppy.
EVen that stops at the above said point.
