Thumbs down Black screen when I try to run Q3A

I've installed my drivers for GF3 Ti200 without a hitch. I get the nvidia logo at boot and shut down. I've installed Quake 3 Point release and copied over the needed pak file.
When I run it from the menu Or terminal The screen goes black like it's loading then... Nothing. If I move my mouse I can scroll around the desktop which is like 4 times the actual screen size.

The top left hand corner stays black and after a short while the q3a disappears from the task bar leaving the large screen, which cures with a log off.

Has anyone else had this issue with q3a?

mand 9.1, kde, gf3ti200, 256ddr etc.

Thanks.

BTW I'll post the output from the terminal when I next run it

[Edit] When I click the q3a point release run file I get this output :-
Code:
[root@localhost myfiles]# ./linuxq3apoint-1.32.x86.run

OK... Linux is now making me out to be a liar cos I just tried running it again and it now works
It plays VERY well, even though I haven't enabled the agp in my nvidia driver (unless it's on by default, How to I enable it if it isn't?)
