black and white video

Any video file I try to play in xine, mplayer, or the media player that comes with mandrake 10 has very little color. It almost looks black and white.
I am using a geforce fx5200

This is also the same case with my ati tv wonder ve. Any video comes in clear, but has very little color in xaw, and yes I have changed around settings.

Thumbs up black and white video

I have the same problem Mandrake10 with a FX5200, I have fiddled with the HUE setting in Totem to one extreme or the other and that actually seems to work, it also saves the setting for next time, so no more black and white video. It also seems to have fixed it in Mplayer too.
