bittorrent


im running slack 9 and im trying to get bittorrent installed i downloaded the tarball from the bit download site when i tar -zxvf it made the folder i cd into the dir and tried to use ./configure but that dind't work bit dont have a configure file inside and i scannned the readme and install files but they realy dont say much bout any of that... well i need some major help so plz someone save me

Did you follow the instructions in INSTALL.unix.txt in the directory made when you untarred it?

yes i tried to follow the instructions but that only made me more confused and now cause of me trying to follow there instructions i think i messed up my browser settings ..... man

There already are instructions. We can't help unless you ask specific questions. "I don't get it" or "explain what the instructions mean" isn't enough info for me to be able to help. Give an error message if you can, tell what you've tried, what the results have been, etc.
