I was wondering what is the best way to have servers send status information to me via email?
I tried setting up poostfix and elm/mutt, but there must be a simpler way. It seems postfix is rather powerful for this little task and I'd rather not use any packages that aren't absolutely necessary on a server.
Currently I use scp, but I would like email notification.
