Hey-
i bought Cedega 4.01 so my daughter would have at least some chance of playing a few of her games and i wouldnt have to run Windows just for that.
I successfully installed "Barbie - My Scene", and got it running, with one minor problem. If you move the mouse to the edge of the screen, you can scroll past where the game is playing, like how you can use a "virtual window" and scroll around a screen that is too large for your monitor to contain. How can i set up Cedega to simply run this game in a window on the desktop? I created a spot in the cedega config file for My Scene and added the line
Code:
"Desktop" = "800x600"
thinking that this would play the game in a window on the dekstop with 800x600 resolution, but it still went to full screen with the scrolling "anomaly".
as long as you're answering, if i did want to run it inside a window, but still be able to move the mouse outside that window, what would i do with the config file? I prefer to have these things in a window, if possible. That way, if something screwy happens with the app i'm trying to run, its easy to do something about it since i'm not locked into the fullscreen of a dead application.
I'm sorry, but i don't use Cedega, i don't know how to do it to load the game in a window.
I know in some games, if you press alt+enter, you go from fullscreen to window mode. Don't know if it's gonna work on Cedega as well.
thanks for trying, i just appreciate a quick answer
anybody else want to give it a stab? This is my first experience with Cedega. I managed to get the Painkiller demo to run in a window, but i dont remember what i did.
