I am trying to backup up approx. 75GB on a Redhat rel 4 server that has a total of 175GB space. Our company is using backup exec rel 12. The linux agent is installed and the backup completes after 8 to 9 hours(after deselecting some of the linux folders), but the byte count in Backup Exec shows shows approx 1.3TB (1,300,799,985,459 bytes) of data.
Am i missreading something, or is backup exec? Is there a setting somewhere that I need to adjust?
