Azureus says "Everything's fine" (and I don't believe it)

First of, please trust me that this is not a "okay - I couldn't figure it out within two minutes - let's post" kinda question. I've been messing with BitTorrent and Azureus, with Firewall and iptable forwarding for about two weeks now and I am just about to go mad.

Now, the problem isn't that I didn't manage to get it installed - I did (tough, though).

The problem isn't that I can't get over the NAT problem (don't ask me how I did it though, I had my internet connection down for days before I managed to reopen my firewall again).

The problem is that there is no problem. Everything is fine. And... ...it... ...still... ...isn't... ...doing... ...anything...!

I have BitTorrent installed, and Azureus because it looks a bit more handy and gives more decent error messages. I am trying to download Mandy 10 (yep - an overly happy club member). I have 13 seeds and 58 peers on my monitor and a little green smiley icon that translates into "Everything is fine". And in five hours - it hasn't downloaded a single Bit. Just as yesterday (okay - yesterday I had 25 seeds).

Now - any suggestions? Any ideas? What - am - I - doing - wrong? Does one really needs to study Linux operating systems for years to get such a simple thing like a peer-to-peer download to work? All I want is my Mandy... Please?

In hope for reply,

Napper

Maybe you could try contacting Azureus author by email or even IRC. I once had a weird issue with VFAT and he promptly helped me on IRC (check azureus main page).
