Awstats with static pages

I am having a few issues with Awstats...first of all I cannot use the cgi part because I use suexec so I can never get to the reports in a Virtual Domain environment...

I have successfully setup static pages for stats, but I have one issue...I copied over all of the txt files for history into the new var/lib/awstats folder and built the static report after doing that...I can then go to www.thisdomain.com/stats and see the report...but I cannot see reports for 2006...the cgi build presents a drop down menu where you can choose what month to view...I know it is picking up the copied over .txt history files though because it reports for Jan-March...just no drop down...

anybody have any suggestions.
