avidmux2 question
I am very new to any type of video editing. I am using avidmux2 to cut out part of a mpeg1 movie. I am getting mixed results. I am able to cut out a portion and save the rest, but when I play it their is no sound. Here is my main question(more of a general one): If I just cut out a portion do I need to reencode it? That seems like the only way I can get my audio to work. I would thing reencoding would lose some clarity. Any advide or insight would be helpful. Thanks
