AVI to DVD

Hi,

What is the best program to convert AVI files (DivX) to DVD?

In Windows I used VSO to convert and burn.. what is the best linux equivalent?

note: avi is a container format, not a codec. turning one into a dvd involves extracting the actual files, whatever format they use, and converting them.

im using Ubuntu 7.10 and a app called

DeVeDe

Its really good for taking a *.AVI and making it into a DVD format. It will even make the ISO file for you so you can burn it off to DVD.

Im not sure where you would get it for your distro but have a look out for it.
