autochk not found-skipping AUTOCHECK

When attempting to dual boot XP and Linux from LILO and booting into XP I get this error: autochk not found-skipping AUTOCHECK. I have hunted for a solution to this problem and think I might have found one. I know this is for the BSOD (blue screen of death) but would it also help for this error?
