Audio cleanup software

Is there a software program for Linux, Xandros, that will record sound output from a hi-fi record player/tape and radio unit, that can remove clicks ,hissing, crackles and unwanted noises, and then save the cleaned up sound to disc or cd, I have Audio cleaning Lab 3.0 for Windows that can do all this in one software program. I have looked at Audacity but it does not appear to remove crackles and hissing and background noises, Is there one package for linux that can do all these things in one program. thanks for any helpful answers, I am new to Linux.
