aspell.h and BlueFish

I am trying to compile BlueFish and get the messages:

checking for aspell.h... no
libaspell not found please install libaspell-dev or similar

I have:

[root@sforsgren-linux-01 bluefish-0.9]# rpm -qa | grep libaspel*
libaspell-0.33.7.1-alt1
libaspell-devel-0.33.7.1-alt1

It indicates that it must have libaspell-0.50.3

I downloaded and configured and "make"d it without any problem. However, I am on RedHat 9 and the only libaspell-dev that I can find is for Mandrake, etc. How do I get this to work for RedHat 9?

Thanks,
Scott

Are these two threads by any chance related? :)

Cheers,

They are related. This one has some additional information about what else I have tried to do to figure this issue out. Was not intentionally trying to double post.
