As far as my knowledge goes linux do not have it , we do not nead it.

Unless you're using over 90% of your drive, you simply don't need it.
Fragmentation on Linux is usually a non-issue.

They do exist, just google for them and you'll find some crappy shareware/commercial apps. They're indeed all useless.

If you feel an overwhelming urge to defrag something (Linux, Windows, or otherwise) the best way to do it is to copy the partition to another empty partition using a cp type command (don't use a disk image or dd type program), erase the original partition or reformat it, and then copy the partition back to the original. This process will produce results at least as good as the best that a defrag program will do. It also sometimes runs faster than a defrag program.

"Defragmenting" linux filesystems is just pointless.
You do not need it.
Don't try to do it.
