APT-GET fails on MDK 9.2 - Error Message

When I try to do "apt-get update" to update the file list, I get:

Get:1 base/hdlist release
Ign base/hdlist release
Get:1 base/hdlist pkglist
Err base/hdlist pkglist
Unable to fetch file, server said 'Failed to open file. ' [IP: 21]
Failed to fetch Unable to fetch file, server said 'Failed to open file. ' [IP: 21]
Reading Package Lists... Done
Building Dependency Tree... Done
E: Some index files failed to download, they have been ignored, or old ones used instead.
I'm assuming it's because MDK has taken down a server or something. I dunno. What should I do? The apt-get is so crappy compared to when I had it on Fedora Core 1
