Angry Applications don't accept output from ibus-anthy (Pisi Linux 2.0)

I have problems with Japanese input with ibus-anthy under Pisi Linux 2.0.
Even though Anthy is selectable in IBus and when selected, Anthy does get activated, my applications refuse to accept Kana input. My .bashrc is optimized for IBus and I enabled auto-start for IBus via KDE System Settings. As Anthy is not present in the repositories at the moment, my Anthy is compiled from source. I had to edit some files though to prevent the intltool hissy fit.
The deal is that I can force Kana input on my Qt applications with env QT_IM_MODULE=ibus but not on GTK applications (GTK_IM_MODULE=ibus). As I mentioned beforehand, these variables are set in my .bashrc.
What am I doing wrong? How do I gain on-the-fly Kana input? I think that it might be useful to mention that Pisi Linux does not use systemd.

There are a couple of points here that might apply:

I tried the .xprofile method, but my applications still don't communicate with Anthy. (I'm currently trying to make Anthy work under KDE 5). GTK applications still don't accept Kana, even when opened with some kind of IM module location specified.

I found why Anthy didn't work on-the-fly. SCIM was forced on my system via /etc/env.d/03scim
