apachectl startssl doesn't work on SuSE 9.0

Hi all-

I cannot for the life of me figure out why I can't get SSL enabled for Apache. If I try to start Apache with "apachectl startssl", I get this error:

Syntax error on line 1450 of /etc/httpd/httpd.conf:
Invalid command 'SSLEngine', perhaps mis-spelled or defined by a module not included in the server configuration
/usr/sbin/apachectl startssl: httpd could not be started

I haven't changed anything, just did a fresh install. Why doesn't this work out of the box like other distro's? (although, I have to say that sometimes more stuff works out of the box with SuSE than other distro's!) Do I need to generate some certs or something?

What am I missing!?!

Thanks!
-Alex

defined by a module not included in the server configuration

did u install mod_ssl?

in /etc/sysconfig/apache u can disable Suse's influence on your server

SSLEngine should be set to 'on' in httpd.conf

take a closer look at /usr/share/doc/packages/mod_ssl/ssl_intro.html

Found the answer-

In the file /etc/sysconfig/apache, I had to set HTTPD_SEC_MOD_SSL=yes (default is no). Then finish by running SuSEconfig to write the changes and then restarting httpd.

Thanks for your help!
