Thenks's but .... :(

in ServerTokens i can hide some information
ServerTokens Prod ->
"Not Found

The requested URL /asd/321 was not found on this server.
Apache Server at 172.16.X.X Port 80"

But, where can i change this information?

looks like: "M$ IIS 5.1 Server at 172.16.X.X Port 80"

does it still display that when you set your own error page? (httpd.conf)

what happens when you change

server prod to "M$ lllkdkdff"

summarizing

summarizing:

*(by Default, without ServerTokens directive)

"Apache/2.0.53 (Debian GNU/Linux) Server at 172.16.X.X Port 80"

* Adding ServerTokens Prod to Apache2.conf:

"Apache Server at 172.16.X.X Port 80"

All info pages (like 404, 500, ... are default's pages)

I don't understand you when this:
"what happens when you change server prod to "M$ lllkdkdff" "

* What (exactly) must i have changed?

postscript: is an Debian Linux (sarge) and Apache2 (v.2.0.53)

Thank you

(**MODIFICATION**)
i have read that i can only do what i want, editing source of Apache, and recompiling: Is this the only way to do?
Thanks.
(**END MODIFICATION**)
