apache: which domain name it says it's at?

Hi Linuxers,

when pointing to my apache server with a browser, the URL always changes to the address, even when I type into the browser. redirects to the address (not stealthed), but AFAIK having

UseCanonicalName On

in httpd.conf should make it appear to be serving from rather than the name.

anybody know what I'm missing?

Thanks, - BP
