Apache: webiste stores

Apache 2 ( httpd-2.0.40-11.5) is installed on my server. When I type localhost on the Galeon it says that html websites should be stored "on /var/www" directory. I copied my website to "/var/www/html" directory, but it still shows the default test page. Where I should place the file or website?

No, file name is form_site.html .. Does it makes difference?

Rename form_site.html to index.html. You could edit your httpd.conf but its much easier just to change the file name.
