Apache virtual hosts and phpmyadmin

Hi all, i have 2 virtual hosts in my httpd.conf file and im about to try installing phpmyadmin. Do i put the phpmyadmin directory in /var/www/htdocs/ and then make aliases to it so the virtual hosts can use it? Are there any other things i should be aware of?

Any help appreciated.

Hi,

you may need .htaccess and .htpasswd files inside /var/www/htdocs/phpmyadmin/ directory , set them up if you want to protect phpmyadmin access using password.

also the Alias should be declared for every virtual host configuration segment, in your case, twice. The alias will map the name you choose to /var/www/htdocs/phpmyadmin/ directory .

Regards
