apache loading images very slow
Hi,
I've just setup apache http & tomcat with mod_ssl and mod_jk on my linux machine. Tomcat seems to run fine on its own, but when I load pages through apache the performance is dreadful- i.e. images either don't display or take a lifetime. I have followed the tips on the apache website for helping performance, but it doesn't seem to make a difference.
Does apache use an enormous amount of RAM on linux or something ? I didn't have this problem with the apache http/ tomcat setup on windows..
any suggestions welcome !
