I had Apache working with a DynDns address that was set up for my girlfriends son. Apache is configured so that the main site just shows a default page that says "it works" and is located at /home/localhost/htdocs and the site that is set up for my girlfriends son has the content that he has created and is located at /home/username/htdocs. We are discussing the possibilities of switching ISP's, upon research I found out that the ISP we are considering going to doesn't allow incoming connections on port 80 where as my current ISP does. So I set up a WebHop at DynDns and switched the port from port 80 to port 8080 in apache and restarted apache. The problem is that with the WebHop set up it is not reading the configuration file for the vhost, because the only site it shows is the one that says "it works". The computer that this is on is only accessed remotely and the "it works" page is accessed only at console with the web address of
http://localhost. How can I fix this so the WebHop displays the pages located at /home/username/htdocs instead of /home/localhost/htdocs?
